Souped Up return again with SOUP011! This time round, Bou & Subkillaz join together to bring us the ultimate “Starburst” EP. With two heavy weight tracks, they’ve really put their production skills to the next level.

They’ve definitely cooked up two strong tracks. – With the tracks already receiving major support from Zinc, Noisia, Phantasy, Kings of the Rollers, Bryan Gee and many more.

Lets jump straight in to the review!

With the first track on the EP, being the title track “Starburst“. There is immediately no time for resting. With a fast hitting hi-hat coming in to play,  you can already tell this track isn’t going to be light. As the synth pulls us in, the heavy hitting kicks begin to roll.  With the looped vocals over the top, getting shorter and short – the drop hits us. We’re greeted by a very grotty and militant drop to the track. Making it literally in your face, which is beautiful. This track is for every raver.

The next, and final track on the EP is “Pressure“. Pressure greets us with a much lighter introduction, putting us in to a weird atmosphere from the beginning. Moving in to the drop, we hear a grotty but light stuttering of the beat. This track to me feels as if it has a Sci-Fi vibe going on. Regardless of the vibe, this track is still a heavy hitter!
